Dear Brethren,
We
greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are very thrilled and our
heart is excited for God to fulfill our prayer for this Radio Talk Show
evangelistic ministry through World Radio.

Woira
Noah, at his arrival at the centre to get ready for Radio Program
Woira
Noah, after removing his bag from the bicycle, happily said; “Mukago Radio
Ministry Evangelistic Talk Show service is great time and place for church
members to dig deep into God's Word and be fed spiritual meat. People know
that this service is offered as a time to study the Word and are inclined to
stretch their thinking to allow the Word to bring new revelation to their
hearts and minds.” Over the radio, we invite and remind people the day, time
and the meeting places. Where they can meet and continue to share the Bible or
any subject from the Bible. Without a proper diet of Bible Study, a child
of God
becomes weak. A babe in Christ will also never gain access to the deeper
promises
of God
as too little spiritual meat will retard their spiritual growth.
As
you know, building a Bible Study that digs deep into a subject often takes a
great amount of self study for the Preacher who is getting ready for the radio
program. This often results in a “Bible Study” night becoming
another night of Preaching as we lean on the God's Spirit to help us get
through this time of unprepared ness.
While
this time of Preaching is often warmly received by the listeners.
Understand, there is a difference between Preaching the Word and Studying the
Word. We often hear people say, "Oh, Now I get it!"
during a time of preaching, then all the "Oh, thank you, we now get
it!" we hear during the preaching. Calls in the radio studio make
us know that listeners are with us and understanding.
The 1 hr time period is often enough time to completely
exhaust the full details of the subject chosen. For that reason, a great
thank you goes direct to people with giving hand and spirit. May the
Lord our God fill your souls with peace and joy. Thank you for sharing and
igniting fire of God’s service in
Uganda
. God bless you all!
True stories from your brethren in Uganda
Charles
Buyinza
Charles,
cordially thank you all who wish Busoga Churches of Christ the best in its
endeavor to spread the gospel. He comes from Mayuge District and he is a local
council chairman of his village, indigenous missionary and cluster church
leader.

Charles
Buyinza and Wandera Paul
With a smile in his face,
Charles says, “Ministering over the radio, has made our communication to all
our brethren easy and for sure to me as a missionary, it helps me make my
visit to other churches timely and known unlike those other days.” Charles,
has been a member of
Busoga
Church
of Christ since 1996 and he has proved him self easy to send. In all times of
need of who to send, he happily say, “send me” His willingness to use
scanty resources has enable to churches live in harmony. This is because as a
missionary is always deed in the villages of Busoga edifying and witnessing
newly planted churches.
Daniel
Walyabawa
Daniel, he is a man who says,
“I picked the world bible school lesson on the road side, and I picked
interest in the
Church
of
Christ
. Therefore, in due respect I started looking for the
Church
of
Christ
, and those leaders that I could easily associate with.” He is a man who
uses any resource pertinent to him to win people’s soul to Christ in the
community around him. Since 1998, he has witnessed three churches planted and
now the first one at Bulyakubi meet in a mud-covered provisional shelter but
now, Butajube and
Kyani
Church
of Christ meet under the shade of a tree.
He mysteriously shook the head
and said; “God has given us this radio ministry as a tool to plant his seeds
and now the harvest is likely to be big.” I as luck would have it, over the
radio, in his local language he introduce himself as, “Omuntu wa Mukama”,
literally meaning, “the man of God”.
