God's Efforts are working even to the very north of Busoga:

The Nakalongo Church of Christ was primarily started as a World Bible School contact. Thanks to Mark Moore for taking it up after the World Bible School follow-up simply to keep the visiting and maturity teachings going on. The Lord has used him and we now have this one strong Church dip in the villages of Busoga. 

The village is very close to Lake Kyoga and down the Kagulu hill that most people who go there love to climb and watch the whole Busoga in view while on top of that hill. During Amin's time, this hill had been targeting to hold a radio station of some kind, but equipments were stolen at the time when the country was in the civil wars.

The notable leaders who come to our Busoga Bible School  is Ezekiel Suuti and Moses Mboizi. Moses often comes with his wife Robinah for these classes.

The Wedding:

There is going to be a wedding in this Church on the 16th/Nov./2002 between two young stars Bwana Ronald and Tapenensi. This will be one first wedding of its kind in our Churches between two young stars who are both from our sister Churches in the villages. Bwana comes from the Butaswa Church of Christ and Tapenensi grew up in the family of the Mboizi's in the Nakalongo Church of Christ.

They have agreed to do the often culturally needed part of the wedding here in this  culture we call introduction on the same day they will seek for prayers and make their vows in the Church. It will be a unique thing from what is often done here and we believe it will be a lesson to many in our Churches.

I have been asked to officiate during this wedding and my prayers is that the Lord will bless me with some means of transport to get there in time. I probably may hire up a car from my friend here that I will drive to the place of wedding. I'm postponing my going to the meeting in Nairobi and my co-servant Manda Wilson will go instead.
