The People
Mboizi Moses Moses has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in
Uganda since 1995 and has been a part of the Nkodokodo village is many miles away from Jinja town, about 90 miles. He is a strong man of God! He has proven himself as a faithful man of God through his involvement with the church, as a friend, and church planter. He is married to Robina. He was one of the first Busoga Bible School students. He has a lot of story, he could tell you about his spiritual life and how his church leadership has influenced many to Christ. We have witnessed his sacrifice for God in times of need, sorrow and joy. Please, put Moses, Church in your consideration for prayer! Maanda Wilson Wilson has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in
Uganda since 1994 and has been a part of the Maanda Wilson is one of our church leaders whom we are working with here in Busoga. He is the Assistant Director of Busoga Bible and Vocational School. When the need for some one to minister in Kyabirwa Church of Christ abruptly came after the death of the Church minister who was working there, he moved his family from his home in a village called Nowangoma to a Kyabirwa village in order to help minister to the church there. he moved to Kyabirwa with no work fund and no garden on that village but by faith. Please pray for Maanda, his wife Sarah, four children and the Kyabirwa village church. Grace Nyanga Grace has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in
Uganda since 1980s and has been a part of the As a leader, he has witnessed several churches planted in the region and beyond. He has proven himself as a faithful man of God through his innovative church programs. He did his level best to see that his parents and close relatives are converted to Christ and in return the church was planted nearer to his parents on the village called Lwanda. He is the first and serving Busoga Bible School
Director...He is a man who doesn't call attention for himself and his leadership
goes beyond a workers manual. He has a lot of stories, he could tell you about his spiritual life and how his church leadership has influenced many to Christ. He has been to the United States of America several times, United Kingdom and moved in many African countries. In Busoga, he is a teaching icon and a model. Pray for him and his church programs. When you come to Africa, Uganda and you fail to meet him, indeed, you will be at a loss to meet many other honest, trustworthy church leaders deep in the villages and in town where the gospel has been taken and still many other workers and materials needed. Meditate on what you have known from the above text and think of how you could be a friend, partner to the growing Church of Christ in Uganda, Africa. God bless you all! churches of Christ in Uganda since 2001 and has been a part of the He is a married man with three children, God fearing. He has edified his cluster on regular basis. He is too humble, speaks softly and he has used his gifts to enhance the kingdom of God in his cluster. his faith in God can be outspoken by only meeting him in his village of Kamuli district. Patrick Martin Ndabe Patrick has been a member of the Busoga
churches of Christ in Uganda since 1996 and has been a part of the He is a married man with children, God fearing. He is an outstanding indigenous missionary in Arua and Church elder back home in Bukhana. He went to Arua by faith. And Arua had no church of Christ but with your prayer, he has so far planted 8 churches and several preaching points... He went to Arua at the time when no body could easily accept to go there. it was still a war zone for the rebels, several time they could bypass dead bodies on his way to Arua. His wife was always worried and crying for his dear husband's life ministering in the war torn region. He has sacrificed his personal dear life for service in God's kingdom. Indeed, we are too much proud of him, his services and determination. He is working in a region which is too much needy. But he always raise his hands to the almighty God to sustain his mission before the HIV/AIDS orphans, widows and needy households. Please pray for Arua Church of Christ, Patrick and his family. His working attitude to spread the gospel and encourage many other Churches of Christ in the region, is a reflection of his faith and love in Christ. He is a man who is easy and full of compassion and tender heart for others. He always use limited resources to enhance God's kingdom in Busoga He is a man who take any opportunity pertinent to reach out to others. has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in Uganda since 1994
along his wife Ida. He is now ministering in Jinja Church of Christ as a full
time minister. He is a faithful man of God, he always organizing weekly volunteer preachers schedules for the Jinja Church of Christ. He is a man who take any opportunity pertinent to reach out to others in the one and only town church in the region. He is always in the radio studio to encourage and win souls to Christ. Pray for Richard, his wife Ida, Children and Jinja Church of Christ.
Waibi Robert Robert
has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in Uganda since 1993 and has
been a part of the He is a young man who acquired his bachelors degree in Library and Information Science in 2002. he partially worked in the Source Library and now invests too much of his time in ministering to the youth, HIV/AIDS people deep in the villages and in Town. He loves reading books. He is easy and flexible leader who always use his skills and talents to enhance God's Kingdom in Busoga. He is now the Radio Evangelistic Talk Show ministry program Director. Robert preaches often at the Jinja church of Christ and Lwanda Church of Christ. He is always a jolly man, who have organized several youth seminar and conferences. The youth are coveting God's presence and provision for the Conference yet to be organized in December, 2008 in Kamuli district. Please pray for Waibi Robert, the youth and his family. Daniel Walyabawa Daniel has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in Uganda since
1996 and has
been a part of the
The number of active Christians in Bulyakubi Church of Christ
totals to 28 members. It was planted by Daniel in 1998 after his two years
miraculous conversion to Christ. He is a product of WBS, Daniel says, “I
picked the world bible school lesson on the road side, and I picked interest
in the Bulyakubi Church of Christ, thank Christ for the work done before them. They have been in struggles to see the gospel spread but by the mercy of God they are still strong and standing. Many preachers like Henry Bwoye, George Wampeke and the women’s leader Monica Nampeke have kept the Church on the journey. Their church is now at finishing level but the fund is scanty to keep the work going... Daniel witnessed the growth of churches like Kyani and Butajube Church of Christ, now meeting under tree shade. has been a member of the Busoga churches of Christ in Uganda since 1998 and has
been a part of the He is a simple, humble man of God. Ever quiet but with vigor to see the gospel spread and souls won to Christ. He is a man who have organized several supper Sundays in Nabikoli church. The church is incomplete but people are praying hard to God to see the structure changing the shape. been a part of the He is a God fearing man, Married with Children. He is ministering in Butaswa Church of Christ, the church which is over 80 Miles away from Jinja town. He lost his co-worker in the kingdom of God called Patrick Mutto, who died of HIV/AIDS. He is now working tirelessly to witness many souls won to Christ in his church. The church is incomplete. Please pray for Kirya Steven, the Church and his family. Their out cry is to call upon brethren to support them in the finishing of their church structure and strengthening the evangelism ministry in their community. God bless you all!

District (Northern Uganda)
Wankonge Church of Christ. He is an Indigenous working missionary in the Busoga
Region and a local leader (local Council Chairman) on his village, Wankonge.
